Article 1 – Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

  1. Arcane VR: Arcane VR Curaçao B.V., located at Eden Mall, Curaçao, operating under the trade name “Arcane VR”.

  2. Customer: Any natural or legal person who makes a booking or enters into an agreement with Arcane VR.

  3. Visitor: Any person who enters the premises of Arcane VR, with or without a booking.

  4. Agreement: Any booking, reservation or contract between Arcane VR and the Customer concerning services or activities.

  5. Services: All VR experiences, sessions, packages, group events, birthday parties, corporate activities, food & beverage services and any additional services offered by Arcane VR.

  6. Group: Two or more persons under one collective booking.

  7. Force Majeure: Any circumstance beyond Arcane VR’s reasonable control that prevents fulfillment of obligations.


Article 2 – Applicability

  1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all Services, bookings, visits, quotations and Agreements with Arcane VR.

  2. By making a booking or entering the venue, Customers and Visitors acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.

  3. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing by Arcane VR.


Article 3 – Bookings & Confirmation

  1. A booking becomes final once it has been confirmed electronically, in writing or via the online booking system.

  2. Arcane VR reserves the right to refuse a booking at its own discretion.

  3. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information (contact details, number of participants, ages, special conditions).

  4. All Visitors must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled session. Late arrival may result in a shortened session without refund.


Article 4 – Prices, Payments & Deposits

  1. All prices are displayed in ANG unless otherwise noted, and include applicable taxes.

  2. Arcane VR may change prices at any time. The price at the moment of booking applies.

  3. For group events, birthday packages and corporate bookings, a deposit of 30%–50% may be required.

  4. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one day before the event, unless agreed otherwise.

  5. Late or missing payments may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

  6. Pricing & Booking Platform Rates

    All prices displayed on this website are local prices and are intended for local residents. Where applicable, a valid local ID may be required at check-in to confirm eligibility for local pricing.

    Prices shown on third-party booking platforms (including but not limited to TripAdvisor, Curaçao Guide, and similar platforms) are tourist prices. These prices may differ from the prices shown on our website, as they include service and commission fees charged by the respective booking platform.

    By booking through a third-party platform, guests acknowledge and accept that:

    • The listed price may be higher than the local price shown on our website

    • The price includes platform-related fees and commissions

    • The pricing structure of third-party platforms is outside our direct control

    We encourage local residents to book directly through our website or at our location to benefit from local pricing where applicable.


Article 5 – Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellation by the Customer

  1. Cancellations must always be submitted by e-mail or through the official booking system.

  2. The following cancellation fees may apply:

    • More than 7 days prior: free cancellation or administrative fee only

    • 7 to 3 days prior: 50% of the total booking price

    • Within 72 hours or no-show: 100% of the total booking price

  3. These rules apply to all VR sessions, packages and events unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation by Arcane VR

  1. In case of technical issues, safety concerns or force majeure, Arcane VR may reschedule or cancel a booking.

  2. Customers are entitled to a free rescheduling or refund of paid amounts.
    No additional compensation will be provided.


Article 6 – Participation, Age & Health Requirements

  1. Each VR game has a minimum age requirement, clearly stated on the website and on-site.

  2. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by, or have consent from, a parent or guardian.

  3. Participation is at the Visitor’s own risk, particularly for those with:

    • Epilepsy

    • Heart conditions

    • Balance disorders

    • Pregnancy

    • Recent injuries or surgeries

  4. Arcane VR may refuse participation to Visitors who:

    • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

    • Display aggressive or unsafe behavior

    • Ignore instructions from staff


Article 7 – Safety & House Rules

  1. All instructions from Arcane VR staff must be followed at all times.

  2. Running, jumping or intentional collisions outside the designated play area are strictly prohibited.

  3. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the VR arena.

  4. Damage to VR equipment caused by improper or careless use will be charged to the Customer.


Article 8 – Liability

Liability of Arcane VR

  1. Arcane VR ensures safe equipment and guidance but is not liable for:

    • Injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions

    • Loss or theft of personal belongings

    • Damage caused by a Visitor’s own actions or negligence

  2. Any legal liability is limited to the amount paid out by Arcane VR’s liability insurance.

Liability of Customer / Visitor

  1. Customers and Visitors are liable for all damage they cause to equipment, installations or property of Arcane VR.


Article 9 – Food & Beverages

  1. Bringing personal food or drinks is not permitted unless agreed in writing.

  2. Alcohol is only served to Visitors aged 18+. Identification may be required.

  3. Arcane VR may deny service or entry to anyone visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.


Article 10 – Photography & Video

  1. Visitors may take photos or short videos as long as they do not disturb other guests.

  2. Arcane VR may take photos or videos for promotional purposes.
    Visitors may request not to be included in such material.


Article 11 – Privacy

Arcane VR processes personal data in compliance with applicable privacy legislation. Details are available in the Privacy Policy.


Article 12 – Force Majeure

In case of force majeure, Arcane VR may postpone or cancel services without liability or compensation.
Paid amounts for unused services may be refunded or rescheduled.


Article 13 – Complaints

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after the visit or event.
Arcane VR will respond within a reasonable timeframe.


Article 14 – Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Curaçao.
Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Curaçao unless otherwise agreed.
